How Often Should I Have An NAD IV?
IV NAD is administered in a graduated dose, starting at 100 to 150 mg and increased with each subsequent infusion to 500 mg or higher. It can be administered in small doses along side other mixed nutrients like vitamin C, B vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and glutathione, or in higher doses of 250 mg+. The frequency is customized to an individuals health status, concerns, and goals. Some will start with a series of IV NAD infusions weekly for 1 to 2 months, and then switch to a maintenance schedule of 1 to 4 times per year. Some will do regular, small doses in addition to their regular mixed nutrient IVs.
The higher the dose of NAD administered, the longer the infusion time, and some doses require up to 3 to 4 hours to safely infuse. Smaller doses can be infused over 90 to 120 mins.
